My daughter’s cooker arrived right on time. The two gentlemen were polite and efficient, carrying the cooker up to the second floor without mishap. They did a thorough check of the electrical connections on both the old and new cookers, and ensured that the obligatory safety chain was fitted to a strong part of the back wall. They demonstrated the controls, switched on the oven to clear the usual residues and told us to switch it off after 30 minutes. Finally, they carefully carried the old cooker down the 30 stairs (with two sharpish corners) again without mishap, loaded it and drove off. Lovely cooker and great service. Many thanks.
